Jay Nunamaker

Founder

Dr. Jay F. Nunamaker, Jr. is Regents and Soldwedel Professor of MIS, Computer Science and Communication. He is also the Director of the Center for the Management of Information and the National Center for Border Security and Immigration at the University of Arizona. Under his leadership, the department has become known for its expertise in collaboration technology and the technical aspects of MIS.

Dr. Nunamaker was inducted into the Design Science Hall of Fame in 2008 and received the LEO Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Association of Information Systems (AIS) in Barcelona, Spain in 2002. He was elected a fellow of the AIS in 2000 and featured in the July 1997 Forbes issue on technology as one of eight key innovators in information technology.

Dr. Jay Nunamaker’s research has led to major breakthroughs in collaboration, engagement and decision support systems, including ThinkTank, the commercial product originally developed by GroupSystems software, based upon Nunamaker’s research. ThinkTank is often referred to as the gold standard for structured digital engagement systems.

Björn-Erik Willoch

Founder

Björn-Erik Willoch serves as a key advisor and board member at ThinkTank. He has over 25 years of international business experience in the areas of leadership and management.

Björn-Erik was a driving force in the development of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in Scandinavia in the 1990s when he helped establish Ernst & Young Management Consulting in the region. As regional CEO, and later Global Head of Consulting, at Capgemini, Björn-Erik has spent a significant part of his career in an international environment.

Today, Björn-Erik collaborates with the management consulting firm Cordial and is launching a unique training program for Business Architects to facilitate the design and initiation of the next business revolution.

Bjorn–Erik is the author of a best-selling Scandinavian book on BPR and regularly addresses audiences on change management and leadership topics.
